Two things I loved about Papi’s farewell ceremony:
1.) Seeing this guy:
2.) Watching it go down while knowing that David ain’t done yet.
(The best part about #2? It gives me more time to remain in denial about Big Papi’s retirement.)
Fun fact: My daughter helped get Papi’s season-long farewell rolling back in March when the official Red Sox Twitter account spotted her and her sign behind home plate during batting practice prior to the team’s first spring-training game:
